Architect or Urban Designer as Project Manager To complement our staff, we are looking for a trustworthy German speaking new colleague (Dipl.-Ing. Architecture or Master of Architecture or Urban Design with focus on Architecture). If you consider architecture and urban design to be an important part of the further development of our society, if you are curious about the “birth phase” of exciting projects, if you also consider yourself to be communicative, open and positive, if you take quality and teamwork seriously, if you are happy to take on responsibility and are skilled in organizing and writing texts, and if you consider yourself to be communicative, open and positive - then you've come to the right place! The remit does NOT include the rendering of services as per HOAI service phases 2 to 9, no design or site supervision but focuses on the preparation and accompaniment of competitions and other procurement/tender procedures governed by VgV (German Regulations on the Provision of Professional Services) or international regulations and concerning complex projects sponsored by demanding clients. We expect candidates to commit themselves to long-term cooperation, and while work experience in the field is not a prerequisite, previous participation in preliminary examinations is definitely a plus. Native German and a good command of English, a solid working knowledge of MS-Word, Excel and Vectorworks are essential. Student assistance We require students on a regular basis that are proficient in CAD drawings (VectorWorks) to support us in the course of preliminary examination procedures.
